Remote Sensing for Conservation and Management

Explore the environmental conservation applications of Earth observation data and remote sensing analysis. Students will learn fundamental knowledge about terrestrial and environmental systems and how remote sensing can be used to measure, monitor, and model environmental conditions. In addition, students will discover existing tools used by conservation practitioners to gather, analyze, and communicate environmental data, such as online data portals and interactive story maps.
