For five decades, the Nelson Institute’s environment and resources (E&R) program has led environmental solutions by following the lead of its students. Though its name has changed, its mission has been steadfast: to empower the next generation of environmental leaders through flexible, individualized study.

Hometown Partnership Fund (UniverCity)

This fund directly supports UW-Madison's UniverCity program, which is rooted in the Wisconsin Idea - delivered to municipalities via faculty expertise and student efforts.

Nelson Institute Leadership Circle

Donors who make cumulative gifts of $1,000 or more (to any combination of Nelson Institute funds) in a calendar year will automatically become members of the Nelson Institute Leadership Circle.
