Remote Sensing Digital Image Processing

Learn the techniques of enhancement and quantification of remote sensing imagery. The course emphasizes processing and analyzing data gathered by airborne and satellite sensors. Students will practice techniques to quantitatively analyze data from photography, electro-optical scanners, satellite systems, and radar and passive microwave systems. These have applications to the fields of agriculture and forestry, geology and soils, water quality, and urban and regional planning. The course includes hands-on labs taught in ENVI and Google Earth Engine.
