Practice of Conservation Biology and Sustainable Development

Gain a deeper understanding of critical components of success in conservation: professional communication, organizational dynamics, effective messaging, conflict management in professional practice, stakeholder engagement, and career development as they relate to a career in environmental conservation. Learn through multiple modes, including hands-on application, curated readings, expert guests, and individual reflection. Classes will focus on intercultural dialogue, team dynamics, communication, effective visual presentation, interviewing and presentation skills, and project development.
