Nelson Institute faculty to participate in BadgerTalk Live

Join Nelson Institute faculty associate Jessie Conaway for BadgerTalk Live November 30 at 12 p.m. where she will share how a partnership between the UniverCity Year program, the Ho-Chunk Nation, and the Village of Waunakee has positively impacted the community. Conaway will highlight projects students in her 600-level Environmental Studies Capstone course completed as a part of the partnership. The six projects focused on promoting cultural awareness of the Ho-Chunk people across the Village of Waunakee. Conaway will be joined by Michelle Cloud, Indigenous Arts & Sciences Grant Manager for the Ho-Chunk Nation Education Department and Bethany Redbird, School Community Relations Director, Ho-Chunk Nation.
