Plant Health Care Coordinator

We are looking for a Plant Health Care Coordinator who has a background in Horticulture or Arboriculture. The Plant Health Care Coordinator is responsible for the care of trees and woody plants to ensure their health and survival. Someone who has great organizational skills and is able to communicate well with clients will be a great fit for this position.  The job incorporates performing various tree and plant health care applications; (Macro and Micro Injections, foliar and soil applications etc.). Knowledge of tree and shrub identification is required.  Must be willing to work in the field assisting the Tree Crew or within other Divisions of EC3 when needed.

Qualifications

• Have or ability to obtain a Wisconsin Pesticide Applicators license by mid-May
• Great organizational skills
• Ability to independently operate a spray rig
• Knowledge of trees and shrubs
• Interest in forest entomology and diseases
• Ability to adapt to changing conditions

Bonus

• ISA Certified Arborist
• Degree in Horticulture, Forestry or related field

Job Duties

• Efficiently set up routing for site visits
• Mix and load chemicals
• Apply various Plant Health Care applications at the proper timing
• Operate a spray unit on site
