Dane County Office of Energy and Climate Change
The Dane County Executive’s Office has a Limited Term vacancy for a LTE Intern – Office of Energy and Climate Change in Madison, WI.
Examples of Duties:
- Draft office communications such as monthly newsletters, blogs and success stories, assists in updating website, and designs and drafts presentations/flyers/handouts.
- Assists in conducting outreach to local entities to encourage participation in OECC programs, including maintaining a database of contacts and reaching out individually to recruit for participation.
- Assists in coordinating and hosting for special events, as well as assists in hosting tables at public events to communicate about OECC programs to the public.
- Assists with research on climate action and resilience programs in other regions, new technologies and practices that can reduce emissions, and strategies for tracking climate milestones.
- Provides administrative support tasks as assigned. This is a 10-15 hours/week position that pays $22.94/hour. There are no benefits.
The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with some graphic design and project management experience.
