Join the Nelson Institute for a career exploration trip to Milwaukee. We will visit the Urban Ecology Center to learn about careers in environmental education, and spend the afternoon at Havenwoods State Forest hearing from a variety of Milwaukee-area alumni about their current work. We’ll end the visit with a Milwaukee alumni and friends meet-and-greet and a hike around Havenwoods State Forest. If you’re interested in working on urban environmental topics, you won’t want to miss this unique opportunity! Transportation and lunch will be provided.

Tentative Schedule
8:15 a.m.: Depart Madison. Pick up bus at the circle drive in front the Chazen Museum.
10 a.m.: Urban Ecology Center. Topic: environmental education.
11:15 a.m.: EUA Architects. Topics: urban planning, engineering, sustainability.
12:30–1:30 p.m.: Lunch (provided — EUA Architects).
2 p.m.: Havenwoods State Forest.
