Research Interests
Horacio A. Aguirre-Villegas is a scientist with more than 15 years of experience conducting research and applied work at the intersection of sustainability, energy, waste management, food production, and circularity. His research has guided the definition of baselines and mitigation strategies to further promote environmental sustainability of different sectors. Besides academic publications, he has translated the results of research into factsheets to inform wider audiences.
