CPEP Seminar – Climate Adaptation in Inland Fisheries: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Bluegill

Speaker: Zach Feiner, Research Scientist, Center for Limnology, UW–Madison

Climate change is altering aquatic ecosystems and affecting fisheries across the Upper Midwest.  In this presentation, Feiner will tell the story of one of those impacts — the effects of changing phenology and loss of winter in inland lakes. He will discuss how the adoption of Resist-Accept-Direct (RAD) decision-making can help guide climate adaptation decisions in Wisconsin fisheries.

This seminar can also be viewed via our livestream.

Hosted by the Climate, People and the Environment Program (CPEP).
