What inspired your interest in the environment and/or community? I would say doing outdoor activities, snowboarding, hiking, cycling, and running just makes me appreciate our world. The cold, the hot, the wind, it feels like humans were made to explore the what the world has to offer. Taking care of the environment just feels like a responsibility to ensure my future kids get to experience what I experience.
What would you say to other students who ask about CESP or the Nelson Institute? CESP is a group of people with different backgrounds coming from places all over the world, with different cultures with the same goal in mind but with different opinions. Making us more educated about the world and changes our view of our original opinions each time we meet.
Something few people know about you: I love doing crazy stuff, I love hiking places that are sketchy and dangerous as it gives me an adrenaline rush. I love having hobbies and invest in each one of them.
Anything else? I have run a marathon and I have watched a volcano in Guatamala have the biggest eruption in recent years.
