John McIntyre
John McIntyre is an innovation leader and venture investor with decades of experience building and supporting startups, investment platforms, and entrepreneurial ecosystems. A Kauffman Fellow, John has been involved in more than 100 investments and has held leadership roles across corporate innovation and venture investing.
He previously served as managing director of the American Family Insurance Institute for Corporate and Social Impact, where he led a $50 million venture fund and broader innovation initiatives. He has also held leadership roles with the Citrix Startup Accelerator and Intel Corporation.
He is the founder and managing partner of the Founders Community Fund, a investment platform that develops revenue-based and other innovative capital models to support small businesses, early-stage ventures, and emerging companies, including those advancing environmental and sustainability solutions. His work focuses on expanding access to capital and aligning financing with how companies grow, particularly in underserved markets.
He is based in Madison, Wisconsin, and is actively engaged in regional and national innovation efforts.
