The University of Wisconsin Potato Breeding Program is looking for an undergraduate to assist with laboratory projects and greenhouse research. The ideal candidate would be research-oriented, have some background in molecular biology or plant science, and able to commit 5-10 hours per week during the school year. This position can be extended through the summer. During the summer, the position entails a 30 hour commitment per week and occasional trips to the UW agricultural research stations in Hancock and Rhinelander for summer field work (transportation and travel expenses will be covered).
