Natural Resources Foundation of Wisconsin
The Natural Resources Foundation of Wisconsin’s Diversity in Conservation Internship Program provides meaningful experiences for undergraduate students interested in natural resource conservation. The goals of this cohort-based program are to introduce students to the field of conservation and its career pathways, and to help strengthen their knowledge and skills to meet the need for diverse professionals in Wisconsin’s conservation field.
Students from historically underrepresented groups in the field of conservation are strongly encouraged to apply, including but not limited to students who identify with the following groups: Black, Hispanic or Latinx, American Indian or Alaska Native, Southeast Asian, Native Hawaiian, and other Pacific Islanders; first generation college students; those with different physical abilities; and others with underrepresented identities. Previous conservation or environmental science background or education is not required to apply.
Students in the 2026 cohort will be matched with one of the following conservation organizations for a 10-week internship:
- Aldo Leopold Nature Center
