As part of the Speakers and Trainers Series, the Institute for Justice Education and Transformation, the
Multicultural Student Center and the Nelson Institute
are co-hosting an evening with John Francis, visiting associate professor of environmental studies. Francis is the author of two books, Planetwalker: 22 Years of Walking, 17 Years of Silence and The Ragged Edge of Silence: Finding Peace in a Noisy World.



Through storytelling, music, artwork, discussion and interactive practice with silence, Francis will engage participants in thinking about the connections between silence and listening, humanity and sustainability, and faith and justice.
