The winter edition of On Wisconsin magazine, published by the Wisconsin Alumni Association, features an essay by Nelson Institute alumnus Justin Mog, titled "Grow Your Own Security." In it, Mog expresses optimism about the increasing interest in the U.S. in growing one's own food and how it relates to the lives of people in rural Paraguay, where he recently served for three years in the Peace Corps wife his wife, Amanda Fuller, also a Nelson Institute graduate.
