REthink Wisconsin is a student organization that encourages and facilitates sustainable waste management practices throughout the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus community. Areas of concentration include, but are not limited to:

  • Athletic facilities
  • Residence halls
  • The Wisconsin Union
  • Local businesses

REthink works to educate the public about the benefits of reducing, reusing and recycling waste; takes action to help people implement sustainable waste management practices; and promotes the adoption of strong sustainable waste management policies across campus. REthink Wisconsin welcomes the support and participation of individuals and organizations committed to a more sustainable UW-Madison.

ReThink welcomes student ideas on how the campus community can be more environmentally and socially sustainable. The organization’s strength comes from the network of interesting, creative minds willing to do their small part to contribute to big ideas.
