Nelson Institute faculty working to improve the experiences of visitors to educational sites

Jack Williams, a professor of geography and an affiliate with the Nelson Institute Center for Climatic Research (CCR) recently worked with the CCR Science Council, the Arboretum’s education coordinator, Gail Epping Overholt, and Betsy Parker from the organization Nature Net to bring together three dozen educators and researchers to discuss increased collaboration on climate change, biodiversity, invasive species, and native landscapes education. The ideas generated from this meeting will be used to improve the experiences of visitors to educational sites across South Central Wisconsin.

While scientists and educators from a wide range of backgrounds were present, a large portion of the attendees were CCR core faculty and faculty affiliates. Read more.
