To start, E-Waste in India has been substantially increasing and is dangerously growing by the year. The projected amount of E-Waste in Metric Tons in 2025, is 1,851,337 tons. Furthermore, it is shown that not much of this E-Waste in Recycled. The E-Waste Recycling infrastructure in India is not completely developed nor organized, and results in a large amount of extra E-waste piling up, leaving the environment and lower classes exposed to the harmful toxins from E-Waste. We can also conclude that the growth of E-waste in growing substantially higher than other wastes such as municipal, medical, fly ash and industrial. Overall, we can conclude that E-waste is a growing issue in the city of Kolkata, India.
