Nelson faculty recognized as outstanding instructors

November 22, 2017

Associate Professors, Samer Alatout, Community and Environmental Sociology and Environmental Studies, and Adriane Treves, Environmental Studies and Director of Carnivore Coexistence Lab, have been selected as Fall 2017 Honored Instructors by University Housing. Each semester, University Housing residents have an opportunity to honor instructors that have impacted them positively—instructors that have challenged them, helped them learn, or inspired them.

Alatout and Treves were selected from confidential nominations submitted by students living in university housing and enrolled in one of their Fall 2017 courses. They will be formally recognized at a reception on Friday, December 1, 2017. Over the past seven years, students who live in University Housing have honored hundreds of instructors on campus.
