Gade and White recognized as Honored Instructors

December 1, 2016

Anna Gade, a Vilas Distinguished Achievement Professor in the Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies, and Monica White, an assistant professor of environmental justice whose appointment is shared by the Nelson Institute and the Department of Community and Environmental Sociology, have been recognized as Fall 2016 Honored Instructors by University Housing Academic Initiatives.

Each semester, University Housing residents have the opportunity to recognize outstanding classroom instructors through the Honored Instructor program. Honored Instructors are nominated by a student for making a meaningful impact on their education. Over the past seven years, students who live in University Housing have honored hundreds of instructors on campus.

Fall 2016 Honored Instructors will be honored at a December 2 reception at 3:00 p.m. in Rheta’s Dining Hall within Chadbourne Residential College.
