Nearly 2,000 participants from across the upper Midwest joined in a thought-provoking day of presentations and discussions at the seventh annual Nelson Institute Earth Day Conference April 15 in Madison, Wis., "Conservation Everywhere: Sustaining Natural and Cultural Diversity."

The event featured appearances by Nelson Institute director Paul Robbins, marine conservation advocate and filmmaker Céline Cousteau, Kohl's Senior Executive Vice President Ken Bonning, renowned primatologist Dr. Jane Goodall, and a variety of other speakers, panelists, exhibits and activities.
