The Nelson Institute Issue Brief summarizes and conveys up-to-date scholarship from across the UW-Madison campus on key issues of environmental concern. The second edition of the Nelson Issue Brief focuses on deer-related research taking place at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In particular, researchers share insight into the ecological impact of deer, the social and economic impact of deer hunting, and the potential dangers of Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD).
