No matter what your background, if you're interested in questions that connect environmental questions with human culture and history, CHE would love to welcome you as part of our community.
Getting Started With CHE
The CHE community is open to UW-Madison faculty members, graduate students, and other members of the broader Madison campus and community. There are numerous ways to sample or get started with CHE. Probably the easiest and most common is to stop by one of our biweekly CHE Colloquia or other events that we organize throughout the academic year.
To keep up with with what CHE is up to on a regular basis, all you need to do is ask to subscribe to our CHE-Friends email list so that you'll receive occasional emails announcing such programs. Our friends list will let you know what events CHE is planning and how you can get involved.
Getting More Involved
You can also join CHE more formally as a graduate student, faculty member, or community associate — but if you're not yet ready to take that step, just become a CHE friend and participate in whatever programs strike your fancy.
If you have any questions about CHE, or want to talk about how you can get involved, we'd love to hear from you. Please see our contact information page to get in touch.
